Tom Hastings - Principal
Tom is a third-generation builder. The attention to detail Tom acquired in his early career working in high-end homes carries with him to his current management in the multi-family industry. His ownership and construction site management have provided him with an extensive knowledge of design, construction and teamwork. Tom has a very hands on attitude, utilizing his many years of construction experience to oversee and mentor his team. Tom works tirelessly to provide customer satisfaction from concept to completion.
Seamus vanecko - director of consulting
Seamus has over 17 years experience in the construction industry. As the Director of Consulting, Seamus performs forensic deconstruction investigation of construction claims and litigation. Mr. Vanecko provides opinions to counsel, insurance representatives and other participating consultants on matters of damage and claims assessment, methods of repair and repair cost preparation. Seamus also conducts construction litigation consultation and report production.
Jennifer Lee - controller
Jennifer Lee is the Controller at BCS, Inc in Danville. Jennifer has worked in the accounting industry for over 18 years, the last four of which have been in the construction industry. In her current role, Jennifer oversees all aspects of the financial performance for the company, its projects and the office operations. Her goals include timeliness and accuracy for her clients.
Chris Kottke - Project Manager
Chris Kottke is currently working as a Project Manager on one of BCS’ projects in Berkeley. Chris has worked for many years in both the construction and defect litigation industries. Chris’ knowledge for both sides of the industry leads to an ability to mitigate future issues for his clients. Furthermore, Chris works as one of the lead estimators for BCS and provides its clients with accurate information according to the scope of work.
Teri Howton - Assistant project manager
Teri Howton works as the Assistant Project Manager for BCS’ projects from the corporate location in Danville. Teri utilizes her over 17 years of experience to meticulously review scopes of work, vet bids, and provide estimates as required. In her role, she has developed organizational tools for the field personnel to maintain communication with corporate and provide necessary information for change orders.
Gerry Magdaleno - Superintendent
Gerry works as the Superintendent in San Jose. Gerry goes above and beyond on every project he works on utilizing his over 25 years of experience to provide supervision and direction to each of the people in the field. Gerry specializes in carpentry and waterproofing details. However, his knowledge reaches beyond these scopes to everything required of a general contractor. Gerry is known for providing his clients with solutions and a finished product far exceeding their anticipations.
